HEIJASTEITA LIGHT ART FOR POHJANKARTANO OULU The piece manipulates natural and artificial light creating a living non-repeating visual intervention. The site is a school building in northern Finland, at this latitude the notion of “day” does not necessarily mean “light”, nor does “night” always entail “darkness”. The work reacts to the available light throughout the seasons with generative code constantly re-creating the visual content.
