Indoor Lighting project of the Year 2013 in Finland Thanks to its vibrant lighting, P-Hämppi, an underground car park in the city of Tampere, is nothing like most ordinary, gloomy car parks. P-Hämppi’s innovative lighting design has created a visually impressive space which feels safe, offers excellent visual Indoor Lighting project of the Year 2013 in Finland. comfort and is therefore easy to visualise. Driving into the car park immediately promises something better than the usual parking experience, and the visitor is not disappointed at the sight of a spacious, expansive hall bathed in colourful lights. The indirect lighting reflected via the white walls creates a bright atmosphere with no sense of glare. The coloured lights are used creatively to give visual directions. With the help of energy efficient light sources and smart controls based on motion detectors, the energy consumption of the lighting can be minimised. The coloured lights that help visitors orient themselves, the adjustable lighting, and the illuminated wall and ceiling surfaces have created a safe and secure car park that lightens up the moods of its visitors.
