Local transport centre (Paikallisliikennekeskus)

The illumination highlights the architecture of the local transport centre and its glass roof in particular. The design follows the principle of accessibility. There is more light where the bus door opens than at the back end under the roof. This lighting solution improves seeing when getting on and off the bus. Any light coming from the billboards and information screens is noted as part of total lighting. The selection of a light fitting for illuminating the street aims to reach the human scale and hidden lights prevent any glare. The coffee shop building is also illuminated.
