Tampere Ice Stadium

The parking area of the Tampere Ice Stadium used to be poorly lit, and it consumed a great deal of electricity. Now, the lighting of the parking area has been renovated to comply with current lighting requirements. The new lighting solutions have improved the lights’ energy efficiency and the overall lighting effect considerably, as the old luminaires and the 400W mercury vapor lamps have been removed. The new parking area lighting has been created with Siteco Sistellar Maxi luminaires and 150W high pressure sodium lamps (6 x HST 150W/luminaire). The luminaires are installed at the height of 12 metres (40 ft.), using mainly the old lamp posts.
