Concept Description

Veturi shopping centre in Kouvola, in the southeast of Finland, is Finland’s sixth-largest shopping centre. In Veturi, lighting has been given special attention. The indoor areas of the centre boast an impressive visual experience, which has been created by LED technology-based light sources and their control solutions. The lighting solutions feature the centre’s distinctive colour palette, and the colours change in a calm pace, creating an overall look that is fitting for a commercial space. The glass railings that surround halls and corridors have been fitted with OSRAM Linearlight Flex RGB light strips, which are controlled by the versatile OSRAM DALI Professional controller. The light strip comes with unlimited options of colour shades and colour changes, which means that the look can be adjusted to suit the season, time of day or special themes. In addition, the decorative dropped ceiling contains white, linear light stripes which consist of OSRAM Linearlight Flex light strips and OSRAM BoxLed module lights. The effect lighting in the dropped ceiling structures is created by Traxon’s Wall Washer lights and e:cue’s DMX control system.
