Steps of the Harju ridge (Harjun portaat)

The lighting of the steps of the Harju ridge brings out the rows of birches surrounding the grand steps. Illuminated white trunks set the pace for a rise to the top of the Harju ridge. A stone wall is partially spotlighted and general lighting for the steps is carried out with wire-suspended lights. The atmosphere is appealing and safe also in the dark. In year 2012 the lowest part of the steps was refurbished and it now has a lovely illuminated water fountain and light benches.
