Concept Description
Lutakko park is an urban park with impressive lawn waves, artwork, islands and, for example, a climbing wall and pétanque court. The illuminational goal for Lutakko Park is to define space and not to create a general lighting for the entire park area. Path lighting is designed and scaled down to human size and bollard lighting is used instead of tall posts. The structures of Tiedon ja Taidon saari (Island of Knowledge and Skill) and Paratiisi (Paradise) as well as the surrounding trees are all illuminated. The steps for sitting and the handrails at the shore are illuminated with LED lights embedded into the structures.
