Kinakuja Bridge

The lighting of the Kinakuja bridge is based on a test illumination made for 2004 Light in Jyväskylä event. The deck of the bridge is fully lit due to fluorescent lamps hidden under railing structures. White arched support structures on the underside of the bridge deck are illuminated with the mixture of blue and white light. Only six lamps are required for the underside. Some trees around the bridge are lit up as well. The Kinakuja bridge with its illumination is visible to anyone following Tourulanjoki river side or passing by on Tourulantie road.
