Kauppalaispiha piazza

This new piazza is located near the pedestrian street, in between Asemakatu and Väinönkatu streets. Kauppalaispiha piazza is designed to be a living room for the townspeople. The surrounding shops and restaurants also have a chance to locate outdoor sales points and terraces on the piazza. A unique tailor-made special post that produces a fine, foliage-like light pattern onto the ground was contrived for the piazza. Also, the façades of the surrounding buildings are illuminated.
