Ferrum – Faktoridammen

The water surrounding the dam has played a great role in the history of Eskilstuna. The purpose of the permanent light installation Ferrum is to create a new atmosphere for this place able to show the water´s historical importance for the development of Eskilstuna as a place and city. The light installations are LED luminaires with lighting controllers. The luminaire (Ateljé-Lyktan – Ferrum) for the bridge is developed especially for this project and place. A facade projection of melted iron also contributes to the factory dam´s new night look.
