Aurinkolahti, “Sunny Bay”

Aurinkolahti is a residential waterfront district in the Vuosaari area of eastern Helsinki. Aurinkolahti square and the shore promenade form the heart of the area. The shore area is lit with relatively low light poles and bollards along the promenade. The lighting design highlights the shoreline while retaining the residential buildings and the lights coming from the apartment windows as an integral part of the character of the shoreline promenade.
