Concept Description
Kari Alonen is a sculptor with a long career behind him. He has become well-known of his opinionated art and of combining light with stone, steel and bronze. Through open-minded solutions, Kari creates unique lighting installations. The In the web of light installation has been made of stainless steel. It reflects living forms to the cover structures of Porkkalankatu bridge. The installations represent the networks between people and their continuously changing nature.
